Drupal theme based on existing site, using Zen empty template and NiceMenus module
Budget $100-300 USD
I am in need of a proficient CSS coder with lots of experience creating Drupal CSS-based themes.
I have Drupal installed, with the NiceMenus module set up (among others, but this one you need to skin). I also have the Zen theme installed, with a blank sub-theme already set up and ready to go (If you prefer to start with Foundation or Hunchbaque, I'm open to the possibility, but the site must display correctly in major browsers: IE6/7, FF, etc.).
I am upgrading an existing web site to Drupal, and I need the new theme to look as close to the old site as possible (if there are minor changes necessary, that's ok but need to be discussed first, for example, the old site doesn't have column "blocks", so these need to be designed based on the old site).
I am attaching a scaled down screenshot of the original site to give you an idea of what you're bidding on. Of course when you start real work you will be provided the URL to the site along with whatever images you need, etc.
As you can see from the screenshot, I need the first row of the nicemenus to have rounded edges and look more or less like the existing top menu items. The drop-downs can be white/blue, whatever matches the site, and can be pretty much stock style.
There will be a single column on the left, fixed size, and I'm flexible on the width (using the default column width in Zen is fine, the less work the better). The Drupal theme will need to be wider than the existing site, to accommodate the extra column, but again it just has to look more or less like the old site.
This project is for CSS theming ONLY, you won't be required to do anything to the Drupal setup. All I basically need from you is a theme directory, that's it.
When bidding, please post links to Drupal sites ONLY. If you haven't worked on a Drupal site theme before, please don't bother bidding. People who can link to sites they have made using NiceMenus are preferred (but not required, the nicemenu CSS code is not complicated or hard).
