We are a small but growing web solutions firm that is looking to hire a coder to improve our existing content management system to include the following features and integrate the new CMS into dozens of websites each month. We are willing to pay $100 per CMS integration/htmlization with dozens of projects each month. The new content management system has to perform the following functions:
a) Allow client to manage newsletters similarly to ConstantContact (view statistics on click-throughs, opens etc.). This will create an obvious opening to sell email marketing management to our clients. The new newsletter system should also have unlimited sending capacity.
b.) Either allow the client to edit the meta tags on their websites or create a script which automatically incorporates keywords into the meta tags. We need to make our system more SEO friendly to give our clients an edge, which will cut down on attrition in the long run.
c.) Allow client to view traffic stats by making AwStats data available in a viewer friendly format. This creates an obvious opening to sell online advertising consulting and SEO to the client.
d.) Make sure that the HTML editor is compatable in ALL browsers (obvious)
e.) Allow client to manage their email and create new email accounts through the CMS.
f.) Allow client to create support tickets via CMS
g.) Allow client to view video testimonials on how to use the CMS to save time and money on training clients.
h.) Allow us to post news on the home page of the CMS. We want to create a community of small business owners networking together and with us.
i.) Allow client to send out referral notifications to bring other businesses to [url removed, login to view] and integrate a script to track results.
j.) Make it possible to integrate new software into the CMS. We want to be able to add the software we are selling--such as our project management and support system--to a client's content management system easily.
k.) Make sure all existing functions i.e. HTML editor, photo gallery, image upload, document, upload are working FLAWLESSLY. This is crucial to scaling the business and saving time/money on a support
