We are located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Our website is long overdue for a revamp.
I do have a few logo and design ideas I like and can provide photoshop field with layers but need someone that has a strong graphics and website design background.
Please take a look at our current (outdated) website at [login to view URL] to get a rough idea of the services we provide and what sort of navigation we require. I would like our new website designed by the end of March if possible.
I have attached a rough idea of an index page for the new website. It is by no means a final draft. I have also attached a few photoshop files of my logo, etc...
Here are some examples of websites I do like and would like to base my new designed website on:
This website provides exactly what my company provides (except I do not provide DJs) I find this website too busy, not easy to navigate and also kinda bland. But they are my biggest competition so the content will be roughly the same.

I like the young, hip, fresh feel of this website:

But also too busy. Hard to get to the content...
I would like my website to be easier to get to the demo material. I would like my website to easily navigate to audio and video samples of the musical ensembles and also make it easy for the client to contact me and get a quote for their event. I have a software developer creating a link that customers can enter all the info for their event (much like an online excel spread sheet). I would like to incorporate that as well. Currently in beta testing for this but I imagine it will be just a link to insert on the contact page of the website.

A few more thoughts. I can provide the copy (writing) but would like some advise on what to include/not to include to optimize SEO. The repertoire that some of our ensembles have is VERY extensive (literally thousands of songs) I would like to somehow work in our repertoire list so it comes up in the search engines when people are looking for a specific song (eg. Google search for "wedding violinist Ed Sheeran cover Perfect Vancouver, BC)
Our main clients are people getting married and most of teh people contacting us are brides so website should appeal to the more feminine side in tone, colour scheme an dbranding.
Having said that, I would also like to focus on more corporate clients so would like to target that as well in website content and navigation. (again will need advice on compiling this content)
I have attached a business card mockup I have done. Colour scheme and font is wrong but I do like the logo I have and the lines in this business card are meant to represent the lines of a music staff. I would like to incorporate this motif/idea of lines of a music staff into the website design.
And my website currently has a photo gallery. Not sure if this is needed or if a blog with pictures and tagging other vendors is a better idea. Again, would like advice concerning these ideas.
