Laughing Millions is a Wordpress website with 3333 business jokes written by the site owner, Paul Peace. These are organised by industry - around 500 categories. The images can be shared as a page URL to social media, or as individual images. We are currently on a development site, not live. [url removed, login to view]
The outcome of this round of development is to ensure ALL site functionality is working and launch-ready on all major devices, OS and browsers. This includes both functionality that is currently in place but not working optimally, plus any new functionality or amendments.
In the first instance the selected developer/designers will be tasked with a select section of the project tasks to assess good match of skills and knowledge.
We’ve done our best to list everything in our project brief (which we'll we send to shortlisted candidates only), where we can see that is not working as it should. We cannot guarantee it is all listed but we’ve a good idea of the site and we’ve done a lot of testing. We need a spirit of fairness here as we’ve gone out of our way to be transparent but we all know that things sometimes don’t work well in terms of UX, etc and need to be changed. There can be some subjective judgement in this.
With that in mind, you may wish to allow a little extra time for those aspects, plus things not working on a particular device, screen size, etc., as well as things that are working now but are affected by new coding and take a step back.
Please also allow for questions and a coaching to help us understand how to use the site backend.
