I am looking to automate download monthly files from a providers website using a web-based script. The script must simulate clicking drop down options and radial buttons to get to the specific file. From my research, this may be the best route: [login to view URL]

Hello, I'm a last year software engineer student. I like all web technologies, JavaScript first. I have some experience with GreaseMonkey yet, and just completed a project using TamperMonkey (GreaseMonkey Chrome equivalent).

Hi, I am interested in doing this project, being a webautomation expert I have lots of experience in doing such things. Note : Grease monkey is not the only option , we do have lots of other technologies that can do the task. I don't have any experience in grease monkey , but yes I can do the task in my way.

Hello. This sounds like a trivial automation task, web based automation is something I have a little history in. Depending on what you'd like to to do (and from what I understand, it is downloading a file), the best option would most likely be utilizing PhantomJS (a scriptable headless webkit) which can be run in parallel and is better managed when dealing with web automation. I've done a few projects based off PJS. I'll answer any questions if you're interested.
