My webhost is 000domains. I need to copy site from the Windows IIS and put it up on the Linux Apache. The account login is for both packages (linux and windows) so access should be easy.
Once you have the password you can access the files and copy them to move to the new webspace.
The files reside at ftp://[url removed, login to view] in the root (IIS package.)
The site can mostly be seen at [url removed, login to view]://[url removed, login to view]
Related domains and subdomains are not a part of this project. Just html type stuff and related files for the domain [url removed, login to view]
After successful upload to new package transfer over domain and email addresses (I think its 4). The DNS servers stay the same so this may happen automatically with the domain change but if it doesn't note that you can set these up quickly.
Thats it I believe. I am looking at updating this site next week and it will be a pretty big project, so it is a good idea for us to get aquainted.
By the way the problem is with my php site crashing servers but it has to do with a recent hotfix with microsoft. The correct hot fix is weeks away from be installed by my host so I have to move to Apache. Its better anyway. The fix that will eventually fix problem with host was issued in December. [url removed, login to view]
Anyway its interesting but a little frustrating since I haven't updated the site in a year and now it crashes the application pools in iis for my webspaces.
