Overview: We are taking pictures of people at a museum and giving them a ticket with a picture number (matching the image file name).
Needs: Image retrieval/viewing system. Participants type in the picture number from their ticket and they can view their image. We need two versions, one just for viewing and another that can send the image to a printer.
Details: App will be running on a PC with a touch screen. User touches screen and is presented with a text box asking for their picture number (we have virtual keyboards developed that can be controlled by COM). User enters number and presses "Enter". App retreives their picture from a network folder on a different machine and displays it. Second version will include a PRINT button to print the image on a local printer. The program should lockout the public from accessing anything beyond typing in a number and closing the pictures after viewing. (Version that prints will have a staff person).
There will be additional work on this project. This is the first step.
