I have a WordPress website running the Bridge theme. I chose a layout with a slider for the homepage and I used a custom code to make the footer transparent to go over the slider. However by default I can't make the slider images longer and there is a white gap at the bottom (underneath the footer) that I don't know how to avoid. If I make the images longer they get automatically cropped.
I would like you to fix it in such a way that it allows me to update both the theme and plugins without breaking it. (Maybe with a child theme?)
I am attaching a screenshot where I've marked the issue.
