The current setup is as following:
== REGISTRATION PAGE
This is being handled by WPFORMS with User Registration add-on that maps the form fields to Advanced Custom Fields set up for Wordpress User Profile.
The site uses Buddypress for its social features. Buddypress is set up with Extended Profile add-on with matching fields of what we have on the Registration form.
1. When a visitor signs up through the Registration form, we have our Wordpress profile for that visitor with all fields mapped correctly, however the Buddypress profile doesn't get any matching data.
2. When a visitor edits his Buddypress Extended Profile, the Wordpress Profile doesn't get any matching data.
THE EXPECTED OUTCOME
We like these 2 (Buddypress & Wordpress profiles) to be matched when one gets updated, the other should be synced.
The job is suitable for someone who already handles this issue before with Wordpress, ACF, Wpforms, Buddypress experience.
Hello, wordpress and buddypress have some hooks which can be used to map data among tables. So, when people register through registration form, we can update buddypress tables and same for buddypress too.
