Use Plugin shortcode inside a plugin form field

I have a shortcode which works inside a post/page but doesn't if I use it inside a paragraph field of a form plugin. Looking at the markup of the shortcode output, the shortcode inside the field doesn't generate the entire markup - missing the onclick event. The working shortcode's output HTML markup contains the onclick event which I think is the reason why the shortcode doesn't work as expected. I am doing this inside WordPress. JQuery knowledge may be necessary.
