Looking for an advanced WordPress developer with capacity for regular work.
The projects range from building organizational sites, with carousels, CSS animations, forms and all the standard elements to updating sites built for specific communities, with permission-driven access to different parts of the site. Our process moves quickly from technical requirements (we write good requirements) to in-browser builds (depending on the project, we don't always do static mockups). Most of our projects use one of the most five or six most popular WP themes.
To give you an idea of what, exactly, the work might be, one instruction might go "Update head and footer background colors to #XXXXXX", while another would have more nuance, "Install this plugin and configure so that one category of entry shows in yellow and another category of entry shows in green." That's not to say the task should be executed without questions; we would like someone who has done this a bit so that they can ask good questions.
Candidates should be generally (more than 80% of the time) available during regular business hours and able to engage with a wider team via project management software and chat, as well as excellent communicators.
We've worked with/hired/managed digital experts for over a decade now and put a high premium on good rapport. We'd also like to speak to you for a few minutes on the phone
before hitting the hire button, and will be happy to clarify anything at that time.
Thank you very much for your consideration!
