WWCBB is a tiny community wireless ISP in Ireland, just getting started.
We are using Mikrotik for our border router, and have been told by our upstream provider - who is also a wireless ISP- that we should provide a public IP to everybody on the network to easily deal with Spam/piracy, etc.
This is different to how our Mikrotik router comes out of the box, and we are having difficulty configuring it securely.
The device you are to work with is already on the network.
We have four issues we would like your help with:
1. We need someone familiar with IPChains and/or Mikrotik to take a look at Firewall rules on the device: we have set up NAT rules for the routable ip range we have been given but the chain rules never seem to get hit.
2. We would like to be able to securely administer the router from the Internet; at present it has a public IP
3. Carry out reasonable work from

4. Provide us with a backup of the config so that we can load it onto our second router (for backup!)
If you are happy to do the work I will provide you with the usernames and passwords.
