I have an almost-finished artist's portfolio site that needs some tweaking and additions. You can see what I have done so far with it at [url removed, login to view]
Here's what I need done:
-- Four more content pages with their corresponding .xml documents with html compatible editing for easy updates. Below is the order and display I would like for the categories. The contact page should open in the main box just like the other categories (instead of the e-mail link). In this order, you may have to push down the image display categories (but we only need 7 not 8). I will add the content for these pages - I just need the layout and .xml stuff completed to do so!
News - About - Shows
Media - Links - Contact
-- Add the background image (I have attached an image of the site with the background I have designed as an example) and have it fade in before the rest of the site content loads. I'd also like an .xml document for this so we can change the background to match his current style (he's a Gemini artist so he gets bored easily and quickly!) and center the main site content similar to how I have it in the background image example (right now it is awkwardly all the way to the left).
-- Equip the video files with the new skin I purchased (I will send you this upon acceptance) and make sure all the videos are working right (right now only the 2nd video is for some reason).
-- Size the logo .jpg slot so that it does not have the thick gray bars on each side and make it wide enough to only expose the thickness of the grey border that is around the about - contact box. (Hope that made sense! If you look at the site you should see what I mean)
-- Add a "detail" / "full view" button to the large images (positioned at the top-right of the image) that allow visitors to click on it and see a detailed version of the painting. An example of this is on the artist Lori Earley's site at [url removed, login to view]
-- Make it possible to add text below the videos (for the main images I just added text to the .jpg's and I'm quite happy with the result and would like to keep it that way but it just wasn't possible of course with the .swf files!) I'm told this can be done but let me know.
That's it! Should be pretty simple for an experienced flash designer. I'd like this done as soon and as inexpensively as possible. I have all of the necessary files to make these changes possible and will release them to the designer upon acceptance of a bid. At that point we can discuss details directly through e-mail. Thanks so much for your bids and considerations in taking on this project.
