Google Calendar Chrome Extension (Proof of Concept)

The extension should work in Google Chrome.

The extension should store additional data in Google Apps (e.g. Google Sheets or database).

The extension should have a button/shortcut to quickly create a new event in the calendar.

The extension should allow end user to add a “guest/participant” (custom event/calendar field) from Google Contacts without e-mail address.

The extension should allow end user to select an “event code” (custom event/calendar field) from drop down box.

The extension should allow end user to check a “special event” (custom event/calendar field) checkbox.

The extension should allow exporting an XML list of events and event related data (standard fields + custom fields, e.g. “guest/participant”, “event code”, “special event”) for a given period of time selected by end user.

This is a proof of concept. Additional work will be required after to complete extension. Feel free to propose other alternative solutions/apps or even platforms (e.g. Zoho).
