Andreas271828

My primary passion is to develop technologies, software and methods to improve our lives in a sustainable way. I enjoy working with people who share my passion and sharing my knowledge and products with other people. My main strengths include optimising processes of the real-world by providing software-supported solutions. My focus is on the functional parts of software and tools to guarantee highly efficient process management, data management and resource management. Solutions can range from simple low-tech methods (e.g. systemising day-to-day tasks) and automation or simplification of processes using software to high-tech solutions based on artificial intelligence. I have gained my experience to analyse and optimise processes during 15 years of software engineering and while researching for my PhD in Computational Intelligence. While coordinating projects as a software engineer, managing a company that provides training for future leaders, and operating as a National Coordinator of The Zeitgeist Movement I have developed and used leadership qualities. I have published several book chapters and conference papers, spoke publicly in Vienna, Hong Kong, Prague, Barcelona and Brisbane, and taught in Tanzania and Cambodia. I have travelled to more than 40 countries and climbed Kilimanjaro; I am an experienced scuba diver and love watching animals; I have a passion for learning about science and technology; I run marathons and have played in the Austrian National Water Polo League.

Experience

National Coordinator

Apr 2014

The Zeitgeist Movement is a global movement to improve our living standards in a sustainable way using latest research and technologies in different areas including energy, housing, food production, transportation, resource management, governance and education. My main responsibilities are to communicate with local as well as international chapters of the movement and to contribute with my knowledge in science and technology.

Managing Director

Aug 2013

At Common Resources we developed as a platform for connecting and training leaders for a sustainable future. My main responsibilities are developing software for the platform, organising workshops and conferences, speaking at events and general management functions.

Research assistant

Feb 2012 - Mar 2012 (1 month)

Senior software engineer

Sep 2001 - Nov 2012 (11 years)

My main responsibilities were developing modules for CAD software. My tasks included the complete software life cycle. The main programming languages I used were C, C++ and C#. I was also involved in strategic processes of the company.
