Content-based image retrieval system. 
In this project, an unsupervised deep learning model for content-based image retrieval is proposed using a deep convolutional autoencoder (DCAE). The encoder part of the DCAE network is used as a feature extractor to construct feature vectors that represent the visual content of images. Based on the distance between the features vector of the query images and the features vectors of the images in the image database, the relevant images are retrieved. For validation, the IRMA X-ray dataset containing 12,677 training images and 1,733 test images was used. A mean average accuracy (MAP) of 93% was obtained for a window of 10 retrieved images.
