BSc Environmental Science. I speak English and Portuguese. My background is heavy chemical industry, water treatment and pharmaceutical laboratories. Including ISO 14001 auditing and compliance, ISO 17025 interpretation and application to existing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Quality control and GLP (Good laboratory practice). AAS (Atomic absorption spectroscopy), GCMS (Gas chromatography-Mass spectroscopy) and wet chemistry method development and validation. Writing and reviewing SOPs for laboratory testing and sampling. Reviewing and reporting of results. Release and stability testing of pharmaceutical products. Interpretation and compliance with IPCL (Intergrated pollution control licence) in Ireland. I moved to Brazil 2 years ago. My husband and I, have successfully opened and are running our own business here in Brazil. I take care of the office side of things including answering the phones, accounting, stock control, purchasing, contracting and wages, and my husband is the hands-on side. Now that the business is running smoothly, and I have more time on my hands I'm looking to get back into my own area, and also use my language skills.
