Greetings! My name is Grace Victoria Candido and I would be honored to welcome you to my portfolio gallery. Please rest assured, I am gladdened by your interest greatly, so grab a cup of tea (or coffee or chocolate milk or pretty much whatever), sit back and browse to your heart's content. As far as my background goes, I am a graduate from the Digital Animation Program at Philadelphia University. In my courses and internships, I have gleaned substantial animation and design experience working with Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects, Indesign, Dreamweaver, hand-drawn, sound editing, traditional and digital animation. In my last semester, I streamlined my methods of video production by single-handedly working on my own animation thesis project; it was a short, steampunk styled story about a boy and his robot's efforts to be the best villains ever (and failing miserably by saving the town). I won the Philadelphia University's School of Design Award for Excellence in Animation, and the Push Pin award for Artistic Excellence in Figure Drawing. My internship with the QVC post-graphics department has allowed me to further develop my entire skill set in broadcast animation, such as creating fluid and sophisticated transitions and show opening sequences. I worked on a team as part of an animation pipeline in order to create quality design and animation in a timely fashion. My latest internship at Shamlian Advertising had me in a leadership position over an extensive animation project for the motion graphics of the launch of a new company.
