The design was completed and I had the desin manufactured from the sheetmetal design files.
Came out perfect. One small issue was not relating to the design but to the capability of the pressbrake in allowing large segmented bend, which resulted in small changes.

Finite Element Model (FEM) of UIT process was developed and residual stress fields in steel, aluminum and titanium alloys have been characterized. The alloys with lower yield strength (aluminum, magnesium etc.) showed lower elastic residual stresses than the high strength materials (steels, nickel alloys). It was concluded that FEM is extremely useful for assessment of effectiveness of UIT on the materials before application.
