This model was created around 2010 using 3ds Max 9 and rendered using the free edition of Brazil renderer. The purpose of this model was for practice in hard-surface subdivision modelling and texturing. All of the textures in this creation were generated procedurally, and then baked into textures. Unfortunately I lost the will to complete this model after the file became repeatedly corrupt, but I'm happy with what came out regardless.

This was my first attempt at detailing a model in Zbrush, and I'm very pleased with the result. Although zbrush's topology tools at the time were underwhelming and it had to be retopologized in Topogun. This model is also fully rigged, and the image seen here was taken in the 3ds Max viewport using the 3Point Lite viewport shader.

$For my final project for university, I decided to sculpt a series of characters based on the seven (Technically eight) sins with a dark, warped theme and lots of body-horror. Pride is the second model I completed, but was the first one I actually had an idea for, and the inspiration for the project. Here, Pride is represented as an animated statue, fractured along the joins and breaking apart. The logic behind this is that ancient Greek sculpture, the main inspiration behind this, carried a lot of pride in both the artwork itself and the kind of 'perfect' anatomy its representing. Pride is meant to embody this, the cracks symbolize its inability to see its own flaws, and the shell of a persona it has constructed to hide the soft, fleshy interior. This one was created using a base mesh in Max and then taken into Zbrush for most of the modelling process. Pride Sculpt

This is part of an antenna array visualization I provided for Callisto (http://www.callisto-space.com/). The client requested a pair of animations demonstrating what a large and a small antenna array would look like which they could use as presentation pieces for potential investors. Ultimately they were very pleased with the result, the only flaw being the overly mountainous surrounding terrain. However I felt this was a necessary sacrifice in order to hide distance culling errors in Cryengine.

I determined early on that the project would have taken far too long to render in 3D studio max, so I made the decision to construct it in Cryengine and capture the result in real-time. I loved how easy Cryengine was to work with in this respect, glitches were rare and easily fixed (Except for the aforementioned distance issues), and the tools are incredibly user friendly.

I was hired by Callisto, a satellite and ground station engineering company, to create a series of animations used to promote their latest project to potential investors. I was hired in August and given until the end of February to complete the project. The first of the animations was completed in September and the second in October, four months ahead of schedule.

I worked on the Deception mod for game The Witcher as a technical artist. Our team was given early access to the mod tools by Witcher developers CD Projekt RED, and my job was to learn how the undocumented, Polish-language tools for 3d Studio Max worked and explain and document the process for other artists. In addition to this, I also helped build and texture various models for the village, but this was a secondary task.
