Hi, I am Alex, I majored in Nanoscience and Photonics as a top of class student at School of Electrical Engineering at Belgrade University Serbia, currently finishing a PhD in Quantum Electronics at School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University of Leeds, UK. I have experience in Matlab, C, C++ and Unix and more then 10 years of experience in Math, Physics, Quantum Mechanics and Optical Telecommunications. My expertise is in Numerical Mathematics. I have been teaching Maths, C and Matlab programming and Control System during my PhD at the University. Native Serbian speak (can also speak Croatian, Montenegrian and Bosnian on native level). I took TOEFL ibt exam on 20.12.2014 and my score is: 109/120 (Writing - 27, Listening - 29, Speaking - 26, Reading -27). I have been living in UK for the past 4 years and my English is very fluent.

My practical experiences include an internship at the photonics group at VUB in Brussels. I gained very useful experience in numerical solving of non-linear differential equations. In two months time I was able to completely understand the numerical method and optimize the matlab code (I reduced simulation time from 6hours to 10minutes)
