There was already analytical solutions done in the excel sheet with the dimensions and thicknesses. The CAD model was imported into ANSYS Static-Structural Workbench and an FEA analysis was performed. The results were much more accurate and matched the solutions provided in the excel sheet with greater accuracy. And the model for analysis along with the design got validated with required Factor of Safety.
