Mostly, in hilly terrains, there needs to be footings on the slopes. The footings support the slopes, ensuring their safety. In this research, using the Plaxis 2D 8.6 was enable the inspection of the effect of soil properties, slope geometry, and footing locations on the slope stability in terms of safety. Soil nailing technique was to be highly used in resolving geotechnical foundation problems and supporting slopes.
