Please Note: I do not do jobs that pay $2/500 words or less. I HAVE A DEGREE. I do not have time to make less then US Federal minimum wage. US Federal minimum wage is only $7.25/hour. Even if I could write 1,500 words an hour, I would not be making Federal minimum wage. You should be ashamed of yourselves for paying anyone that. Additionally I wish people would stop accepting jobs like that for the sake of all freelance writers. Hi! My name is Leslie. I graduated from Baylor University in December 2008 with a degree in professional writing and archaeology. As many college graduates have discovered, this economy is not conductive to recent graduates. I've decided that instead of bemoaning the fact that I am not writing for a living, I am going to write on my own terms and market myself as a freelance writer. I have done several freelance writing projects including writing/re-writing resumes, cover letters, word glossaries, and blogging. My writing style is informative, witty, and fun.
