This was inspired by beauty and the beauty of nature and the outdoors.
Representing the beautiful art of nature. The title Name it something after me is about how we often forget about what nature does for us. Flowers,trees, wildlife, water nature itself has always been within our lives no matter how we advance in life.We now use some of nature to help us live, breathe, grow, and be healthy.We gave it reasons but it gave us birth to those reasons.We give it different names but often forget its roots. We don't say can I have a piece of sliced tree. We say paper. This was what I wanted to portray in this picture.

The meaning of this piece is about how naked and vunerable we are with fear. How we have darkness surrounding us with the little safety we may have.But with darkness comes light and with the unsafe follows protection.When ever we feel negativity and bad occurances closing in on us theres always going to be good following behind. Even if it starts out small.

For those whose stories have created a better ending from when the story began. For those who had hardships in life but were able to grow from adversity to make them a better person. The person represent the people of which this story speaks to. The lips are a plane crashing into buildings that are drawn on fingers. Representing the problems that can bring us to destruction.The veins with working men placed on it represent creating what was broken.The still tree growing on its neck represent life how beautiful we grew up to be. The birds flying away represent the start of something new, and starting a new beginning while the dream catchers represent the faith you kept alive while you were catching nightmares.
