Effect of azadirachta indica on alloxan induced diabetic rat

100 rats were injected with alloxan and diabetes was induced . These rats were treated with azadirachta indica extract . The histological and histochemical analysis showed that rats supplied with azadirachta indica extract showed recovery from diabetes and the plant is very beneficial in treatment of diabetes . Histological aspects showed recovery of islet cells from diabetic shock and Histochemical analysis reveled their blood sugar and cholesterol level was reduced and brought up to normal level
