Elena Marr (artist name “Maya”) is from Krasnodar, Russia. She was born on 02-12-1985 to Anatoly and Nadegda.
She’s now married to Philip Marr and living in Germany.
She holds a Degree in ‘Bachelor of Arts’ in Business Management.

Since childhood she was very fascinated by the colourful Bollywood films. The love towards Bollywood took her to the Centre of Indian Culture “Tulsi” in Krasnodar, Russia, where she learned the basics of Indian dance. The word dance arrived in vashvi’s life at a very early age. Born & brought up in Vadodara, Gujarat, she was famous from school days for her dance performances.
This encouraged her Parents to build a classical dance form in her. She started learning Bharatnatyam from her Guru (Smt. Rema Shrikant) at the age of 6 years & trained with her for 13 years.
Going ahead, she also decided to pursue her education in this field.
Her top achievements:
* Received scholarship from Ministry of Culture New Delhi to study Bharatnatyam from her Guru for 2 years.
* Received “Kal ke Kalakar” award from Sangeet Natak Academy

*She has participated in many Inter-Cultural dance competitions during school and college days. The most highest award she was honoured during college days was for performing TANDAV in an inter cultural group competition.

The unexpected visitors

Surekha will deliver what you ask of her with pride. Her expertise is in researched information and has branched out on this project based on teenage non-fiction novel writing. It did start as a challenge, but she learnt quickly the structure and its purpose. Her communication during the project is excellent and I could rely on her to reply quickly and make any changes promptly.
