Learned about how urban geography around the world, and how the urban changes. At the end of the class had to create a project about a specific city. My project was about the growth of Koyoto, Japan and why if grow by using GIS.

This class trained individuals on how to use ArchGIS and QGIS. Not only were we taught how to use GIS in a classroom setting, we also learned how to apply it to research question by creating projects. My project was about finding survey able lands in the Pouder Canyon.

Was trained to use mapbox, carto, ArcGIS online, collector softwares, and basic Geojson programing language in creating maps that are assessable to cellar devises and computer as well as collect data in real time. In addition, the class had a class project to do data collection outside to create a map that was assessable to cellure devises for the Loveland, CO McKee Medical Center Foundation memorial.

Poland Bioarchaeology Field SchoolJun 2017 - Jul 2017 (1 month)
During this field school, I was taught how to excavate human remains, and prepare the remains for transportation to the lab. I was also taught how to identify human remains, name every bone in the body, and translate between Polish and English. Working in the field, this field school had also taught me how to analysis human remains in the lab. This would include cleaning the skeletal remains, trauma, dental analysis, infect remains, determining age, and assembling the skeletal remains.

Was taught how to read and use maps, compasses, and GPS. In addition, I was taught how to do map- making, proper field note taking, and formal and informal surveying. During the summer of 2016, the crew, including myself, were excavating sites of prehistoric inhabitance within Fort Collins, CO. In addition, I went to Rangely, CO and surveyed canyons for grain processing sites. Was taught how to draw profiles and place GPS coordinates of potential sites.

During my time at Colorado State University, I worked with the animal science department doing research. In this job I mostly had to do data entry in Excel. However, I have also been taught how to do dry, ash analysis, resuspension, certified in hazardous waste management, dialysis, autoclave, centrifuge, use of hazardous chemicals, handling boiling acids, handling cattle, herding cattle, homogenization, and proper sanitation techniques.
