I\'m obsessed with figuring out how things work and finding ways to make them work better. Throughout my life I\'ve developed a variety of interests encompassing too many things to list – my largest of which has always been building web technologies though. As a developer I\'m most passionate about building things which help businesses grow. I love working on business information systems (customer relationship management, financial information management / billing systems, project management, etc) simply because the projects are so fun to work on. AirBoatUSA and Biscayne Underwater National Park are two more creative projects I worked on. I integrated these designs with a custom ticket booking solution and made various additions & revisions to the system to meet the companies needs. Later I also integrated a custom credit-card processing API with the software as well. The API was fairly similar to Authorize.net's DPM API.

Max Clicks is a previous employer. I built this website for them and they are still extremely happy with it. The website was built on the WordPress platform and used various plugins, customization, and a premium design to form a creative functional website. The primary objective was to create a shock & awe effect when new customers visited the website. New clients were found with an outbound call center that constantly directed people to the website so the need was to impress clients when they visited on the website and provide them with essential information necessary to make a purchasing decision.

This is a fully custom responsive website & content management system. Administrators have full control over the content & the client businesses listed on the website. Clients can login and manage their businesses details, pictures, & contact information. The website was designed with a content-out mobile-first mindset and the customer is extremely happy with the end-product.

Venture Charters is a fairly straight forward WordPress website. The goals on this website were to provide organized presentation of the companies service, prominent placement of contact methods, and make use of the awesome pictures of fish previous customers had caught. I had a little fun with the background image on this website too. We wanted to be able to see the space needle in the background on larger monitors but the picture we had inconveniently had the space needle in the wrong location. Using Photoshop though we were able to fairly effectively move the space needle to a different part of Seattle. If you look closely you can see obvious distortion around the bottom of the space needle now, but surprisingly enough that distortion was present on the original picture as well.
