The Society of Comparative Literature is a student society under the Department of Comparative Literature in the University of Hong Kong. It aims at promoting Comparative Literature and planning the welfare for the members in the campus. Being the Publicity Secretary in the Society, I was responsible for designing all the promotional materials, including posters, handbills, and collaterals. 

This position gave me solid experiences in graphic and print design. It also gave me an opportunity to deeply develop my interests in design.

To encourage the reading trend and increase its brand exposure, the Youth Literary Awards decided to distribute a series of free bookmarks to readers in different bookshops. The theme of these bookmarks are about the moments of reading. 

I have created 4 bookmarks which describe different moments of reading in daily life. One of them even let the readers themselves to fill in the moment of reading they love most.

MasterCard has held a mobile app development competition called “Master of Code Hackathon” in 2015. The Hackathon requires participants to develop a mobile app from zero in consecutively 24 hours. The theme of this Hackathon is to create an mobile app which utilizes their new mobile payment method, MasterPass. 

Our team is formed by 1 entreprenuer, 2 programmers and 1 designer. I was the designer who was responsible for designing the overall user interface and other graphic elements. Our idea is simple yet can popularize the use of MasterPass: to co-operate with merchants e.g. Starbucks, to make the daily payment easier.For example, when you pay for a group of friends in Starbucks by Poca, it will help you to split the bills and calculate how much you friends should pay you. 

This mobile app finally became one of the best 5 apps in the competition.

Each wooden accessory or stationery is 100% handmade: from cutting, polishing, dyeing, burning, colouring to applying varnish. I put my full effort in making each piece of wooden handicraft products. 

I belive that accessories and stationeries do not need to be made of expensive materials to prove its value. Natural materials create a uniqueness which adds a greater value to the products.
