The process of creating advertisement involves several stages of proofing. At every stage, various business associates, i.e, Buyer, Creative person, etc, proof an ad, which is part of an insert or a direct mail. The process of proofing involves adding, editing and reviewing annotations. The users can create plans by account, then display and analyze plans by account structure, responsibility, or organizational level. The primary users of the FedBTR system are Managers who are responsible for planning accounts, Executives who want to display performance across account segments and Corporate associates who want to display account segments across the entire organization. Ground Collision Avoidance System (Nov 1997 – Apr 1998) · Client – National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, India. · Technology – C Graphics. · Responsibilities – · Assisting a team of aeronautical scientists in their research by coding simulations · Requirements gathering. · Coding using C and C-graphics. · Testing. · Project scenario – This simulates the idea of Ground Collision Avoidance System. The Aeronautical Organization is making it mandatory to use the software for all aircrafts by 1999 in order to reduce aircraft mishaps caused due to Controlled flight into Terrain (CFIT). Data i.e. the altitude information is obtained from the sensors like the baro and radar altimeters and processed using the software to determine whether the aircraft is in danger. Visual and aural outputs advise the pilot of dangerous situation. I was involved in the development of the system, which indicates whether the aircraft is fully operational, or not. Warning criteria is selected as per the aircraft model and pilot requirements. It is basically an acceleration-recording instrument intended for recording vertical acceleration of an aircraft during flight. This would provide necessary information for estimating the fatigue life of an aircraft.
