Personal growth is important to me, so I am continually retraining, upgrading skills and improving my ability. Becoming a full-time freelancer has been a slow and gradual process, but this year [2013] has seen that transition fully realized. The freedom and control I have over my own development is invigorating." - askPaul *** 2017 Update [March] *** "I've been away, but am back at Freelancer! I've been very busy teaching coding online to young programmers, and pursuing my other love - woodwork. My workshops are open for business, together with my Youtube channel and a much more solid, branded web presence. I love that I can bring my passions together at this stage of my life, and look forward to a very exciting, successful year." - askPaul

AOL
A pre dot com boom article I wrote in 2004, which reflected on the rapid growth of the internet in the UK in 1996. My article, written a several years later, time stamps many of the major historical advances in UK internet access - accessibility through Freeserve and AOL's UK launch. In particular it exemplifies the dire situation for many, before they arrived. I will post this article to my blog in due course.
