In 1993 I opened Bill Jacobson Internet, providing web development services in Marin County, California. This included developing the first content management websites for the City of San Rafael, Town of San Anselmo, and Tiburon Recreation Department.? Prior to this work, as a Technology Consultant and Trainer I provided software and communication technology services to IBM Business Centers throughout the Southwest. As a technology strategist for a fortune 1000 organization, Sedgwick, Inc., I visioned, developed and oversaw the implementation of a shared RS-6000 network environment that delivered a distributed graphical user interface to forty-six offices nationwide, along with a training program that moved hundreds of executive, managerial and staff employees from prompt driven standalone terminals and DOS PCs to a state-of-the-art Windows OS based system.?
