CHALLENGE: Competition with mobile messengers is not easy. We had to bring life into a simple, clear, and friendly interface. Extra care was needed for the security system, as messaging apps need special data protection. CLIENT: Tiddle is a messaging app by Tiddleapps that offers unlimited SMS texting and chatting with anyone in the world. It works without advertising and does not take too long to register: once ran for the first time, the app immediately syncs all the contacts via phone number. SOLUTION: We managed to implement all the functionality of the app while maintaining the light, clear look and feel.

CHALLENGE: Typical networking instruments such as chat, matching, and referral credits needed to be seamlessly connected with event industry functionality (managing photos, tagging, buying tickets, and geolocation). Additionally, it was important to protect personal data. CLIENT: Cococure is a networking app for Africans in Great Britain. It connects people that attend events in the same location and lets them chat after they connect. Aside from being a networking tool, Cococure also works as an event ticketing platform. SOLUTION: With up to 5000 downloads from Google Play, Cococure has the acclaim of a top mashup for events in London and a network for meeting new people across Great Britain. Thousands of people are now a swipe away from a lost friend, a new connection or a business partner.

CHALLENGE: Video streaming is relatively easy when the quality is not an issue; however, it is quite challenging to stream HQ videos when troubles with internet connection set in. We’ve used the cutting edge video compression and broadcast systems to tackle the problem. CLIENT: DropIn is a remote video inspection platform initially started for the insurance industry. It works like a sort of ‘live streaming Uber’: insurance professional can get Droperators to stream video from any location, thereby documenting property damage in real time. SOLUTION: Throughout 2016, DropIn has gained the reputation of an efficient smart solution for insurance industry and repair network operations. It was featured in The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, CNBC, and Entrepreneur Magazine.

CHALLENGE: Our key task was to combine video chat and text messaging functionality while maintaining the high speed of data transfer. CLIENT: Polyfish is a video messaging app for learning languages. It is ideal for practicing languages through speaking. Users can choose not only languages but also topics. SOLUTION: Aside from building the app in only two months, we managed to exceed the customer’s expectations by making the interface user-friendly.

To achieve this, teams of Softermii and the customer needed to design and code an interactive platform where users can upload videos, rank them, and even make revenue. CLIENT: Vidme is a video sharing app for those who love bizarre or simply interesting online videos. The startup itself was one of three projects created by Bit Kitchen, the enthusiasts from LA. The community now connects thousands of people on Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter. SOLUTION: The new apps quickly became popular among thousands of users. TechCrunch remarks that Vidme’s simple design makes the app stand out among other video sharing services. We are proud of taking part in a creation of this simple, stylish interface.

In addition, the complex backend needed to be integrated. CLIENT: Dollar Shave Club is a US-based men's lifestyle company that aims to take personal grooming to the next level. Far from conventional online retail stores, it provides personal delivery of razor blades and other personal grooming products. SOLUTION: We’ve designed and developed a custom solution with unique UI elements and breakthrough frameworks for model object animation. The application has already been installed over 3900 times, expanding the customer’s business.
