In this intensive workshop we have investigated possible solutions to different problems of Villa 20, in Villa Lugano. The concept to work was to link the urban plot of the neighborhood, for which we developed a specific material system that connects different points of the town and generates public space.
It seeks to reach a new concept on how to inhabit the public space. Generate a new material system that is flexible, light and efficient, based on the idea of connecting the different spaces and innovating with utopian imaginary.

This architectural project has its location in Villa La Carcova. It is the result of the previous urban analysis, and proposes to build on a plot currently used by the industry that works by isolating the neighborhood from the rest of the city through large walls that surround its land.
The program of activities developed in the building was chosen to generate self-management, strengthen the identity of the inhabitants of the neighborhood and clean up the environment. These programs are divided into modules of different dimensions. All modules have a sanitary core, allowing freedom in the program and changing use. The plans of the project are a suggestion, knowing the lack of urban public space in Villa La Carcova, the land occupation should be as flexible as possible.

Ernestina is a forgotten town of high heritage value. The town was connected with the rest of the country through a train that stopped working in the 90s, leaving the town disconnected. In order to reactivate it, it is proposed to develop specific programs that increase interest in the area, managing to populate the town and reactivate trade.

Tigre finds its identity in the deltas and rivers that surround it. Its naval imprint source leads us to this project, a museum where you can exhibit copies of ships in real scale. The guiding idea of the project was to take the concept of shipyard, generating an elevated central nave where permanent exhibitions lie. The rest of the program is organized in smaller structures, surrounding the exhibition hall that works by articulating the entire building.

The Government of Buenos Aires proposed to the inhabitants of La Villa 31 the preparation of the plans of their homes, in order to initiate a process of legitimization of them. To improve the quality of housing in the neighborhood and its urban infrastructures, a team of architects has been hired to prepare the structural plans, installations and architecture of each of the Villa's homes. Thanks to this, it was possible to know the real state of the living conditions of the people who live in the neighborhood, as a starting point for the future integration of La 31 with the rest of the city.
