I have 13 years of experience with call centers, Telecommunications facilities, and previously owned Carrier One, a long distance SIP trunk, colocation, and private line provider and 20 years of experience with Unix. I have been using Linux since 1993 and many other Unix flavors thereafter. Most of my skill set is in ANSI C software development, systems administration on BSD and SVR4 Unix variants, and TDM (T1, DS3, OC-x) transport troubleshooting and engineering, VMWare ESXi Hypervisor platforms, performance tuning, ZFS SAN/NAS configurations, iSCSI targets. In telecom, I first developed CTI/IVR applications with Aculab Prosody cards on the Sun Solaris platform in 1999. I first started using Asterisk in 2003 and FreeSWITCH in 2008. Several years with mobile app development starting with Java on Nokia platform.

Founded one of the very first hicap VoIP trunking networks in the US using data private line infrastructure. Started deploying Asterisk based servers to customers in 2003. Built a standalone telco POP in 2004 on-net with 7 carriers. Drove some very successful SaaS products to market.
