De DigiFamilie | The DigiFamily
De DigiFamilie (The DigiFamily) is a project which has been released to more than 200 primary schools in the Netherlands. De DigiFamilie is a transmedial story, putting both parents and kids behind the computer. Together they explore the different social media, all the while being confronted with different opinions on how to handle themselves online, what privacy means, et cetera. De DigiFamilie aims to teach parents and children about the opportunities and dangers of the internet. Specifically, it tries to spark a debate between the different parties about domains such as privacy, safety and friendship online. They are sent 'into the wild', visiting sites such as YouTube, Google, Facebook, Hyves and Habbo. More information: www.digifamilie.nl.
