OBJECTIVE: Seeking an internship so as to gain valuable experience and knowledge at the same time.
EXPERIENCE:
• Web Developer: Design, development and maintenance of educational and commercial websites. (Technology based learning and research, ASU).
• System Support Analyst: Experience administrating web server, creating and tabulating surveys. (School of Social Work, ASU).
Recent Projects:
• Redesigning and implementing Online Grade Book system for MCC: - This project involved improving the existing structure of the database system and redesigning it so as to make it more efficient and scalable.
• Designing and development of DVD rating system: - The aim of this project was to encrypt the movie and make it available for viewing in such a manner that restricted scenes can be viewed only by people with suitable age limits.
• eDVD system: - The project involves automatic conversion of various educational materials in text, audio, presentations, video formats into a DVD format.
MAJOR PROJECTS DONE:
• Biometric Voice based Speaker Identification System: - Find who the speaker is after matching the voice with the available voices in the database.
• Distributed Student Information system: - Developed a distributed student information system containing data about all the students of IIIT. The highlight of the project was that the database was distributed across different sites and the queries were routed to the appropriate server by a centralized server.
• Algebra on PC: - This software implemented using Scheme can perform all general mathematical operations and differential of any function.
• Patent Searching System: - Patent searching system has the capability to simultaneously retrieve all the patents from the Online Patent Database in the field of interest based on fields like title, inventor, subject or any keyword and identify whether a patent exists on an invention or not.
• Hospital Information System using Oracle Developer 2000.
• Developed an Image processing toolkit.
INDUSTRIAL PROJECT: Developed Cyber Café billing system Project Details: Developed an automatic Cyber Café billing system for RCC, Chandigarh. COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Languages: C, C++, VC++, Java (Swing, Networking, JDBC, RMI, Applets, Threads), Scheme, Visual Basic, SQL, x86 Assembly language programming.
• Tools: Rational Rose, Visual Studio, Matlab.

• Operating Systems: - Windows, LINUX, Macintosh.
OTHER ACHIEVMENTS:
• Awarded Merit certificate by CBSE for being among the top 0.1% students in Mathematics all over India.
