For my final thesis I worked at BlueTea for about 4 months. BlueTea creates simulation games for processes like using a defibrillator or performing maintenance on an industrial pipesystem. They create these simulations using their system Virtual Studio. My task was to add HoloLens support to this system. To do this I had to research what would need to change and what kind of interactions are possible with the HoloLens. I also did a fair bit of research on the techinical side of it. The interactions I needed to implement weren't always readily available for the HoloLens. For a full documentation on what I did for this project, please refer to the portfolio website I made for that project: https://portfolio.colinrosen.com (written in Dutch).
Ever since I can remember I’ve had a passion for figuring out how things work. This led me to creating websites when I was 11 years old. Which in turn lead me to programming. As with many projects I thought I’d move on from it eventually, but I never did and till this day I’m still programming with the same passion as the little 11 year old me. From 2014 to 2018 I studied at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences for software engineering and game design. During this time I worked on various projects ranging from websites for an art center to a game that helps children with cerebral palsy recover after a surgery.
