I'm an ex-pat Brit spending about 80% of my time in Ankara, Turkey. I graduated in London in Engineering Product Design (Industrial Design by another name) but have spent most of my time since doing Graphic Design. I do bits and bobs for some small firms over here, but I've loads of time left over for some more freelance jobs. I prefer to work in clean lines, flat colour, bold typefaces. I'm not a big fan of the whole "gradients in everything, web 2.0, ribbons and badges" stuff. I love what I do, if I can make a living then that's a bonus.

$Works for a creative arts company. \"Making New Visions\" was the company name, and also the only brief. The company is Turkish, so \"v did it\" is a play on the accent. Fortunately they found it amusing rather than offensive.$

1. A business card for a freelance journalist. He is Dutch, hence the colourscheme, and hard-working, hence the coffee-stain motif.
2. A less-businessy business card. The client wanted a card to give out at meetings and functions, rather than constantly tapping into people's phones.
3. A card for a small store chain.
4. An advertising card for a yoga retreat.

Design 3 x versions for sheet packaging (I have the template)

As an employer I can only say one thing: USE TIM! It's far and few between that you will ever find a designer with his skill level on freelancer and his communication/english skills are prefect given it's his native tongue. This means he UNDERSTANDS the brief the first time and needs little guidance. Don't bother using anyone else on this site. He is a very good designer so he actually ADDS VALUE to the process, as opposed to just taking orders from you as a client. It's been a god send to find him and I have many more jobs planned that I hope to work with him on.
