Included ability to view incoming images scaled to size in GUI, as well as ability to process incoming files and print using Java Advanced Imaging and printing services. Also implemented Postscript template solution for speed. Converted Visual Basic order entry and search utilities to Internet applications of expanded functionality using Java Servlets and combination of JSP and EJBs. This ran on Apache and Weblogic in both an NT and UNIX environment. Used JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets to maintain UI features from existing Visual Basic Applications. Some pages were written using XML and XSL/T, which could then be shared across different teams. All applications pulled information dynamically from Oracle 8. Developed a middleware EDI process using Java and JDBC to pull order information from Oracle8 tables and creates the sales orders in SAP. Created multiple order entry and a database search applications using Visual Basic and Trilogy Software to collect relevant order information and pass it to an SAP ERP System. Created an RMI client/server application for load testing of order entry system. Built a number of Visual Basic applications, using ADO to communicate with an Oracle 8 database, to help maintain data integrity throughout the projects lifecycle.
