ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER, ROLLINS COLLEGE 2001-PRESENT • Management of staff and student workers located in the helpdesk, repair shop, laptop shop and presentation systems. • Responsible for taking escalated Faculty/Staff support calls and troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues. • Responsible for ordering and distribution of new computers for the college. • Coordinating between help desk and shop technicians to provide support to the end users. • Training of all new students for the Information Technology department, and all incoming staff to Rollins College on basic I.T. competencies. • Implementation and maintenance of electronic submission of technical requests into data repository, online profile updates, and automatic client notifications for call ticket completion. • Maintaining call tracking database and server. • Responsible for changing and resetting access passwords for students and staff as needed. WEB SITE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, INFINITY BROADCASTING 2000 –2001 • Responsible for the redesign of three radio station websites owned by Infinity Broadcasting. • Maintained websites content and insured that design was current and innovative. • Developed sales packages for account reps to sell areas of the web sites. • Make sure the sites are up and running, determine any functionality issues and fix them. Create profiles for customers in the max routers • Use UNIX commands to terminate user connections and troubleshoot issues with customer connections. • Inform the technical support representatives and system administrators of outages and keep the representatives updated of current down time. NIGHT SHIFT SUPERVISOR, ESPIRE COMMUNICATIONS 1998-2000 • Keep track of the technicians on the shift, make sure they are on the phones, answer any technical questions they may have and make sure they resolve all issues in time to meet Service Level Commitments. • Run scripts setup by administration, maintain fix logs, ownership, and statistics and add miva merchant and webtrends to domains. • Take escalated calls from upset customers. Deal with Network administrators on server issues, and issues that need to be taken care of at an accelerated rate. • Help customers configure their emails in their domain control panels as well as on their computers. • Troubleshoot mail problems and decipher whether problems are server side or user side. • Help customers upload and download information from their domains. • Support Cybergate’s Internet access accounts over the phone by answering questions about Internet access. • Help customers configure their computers to access the Internet and get their email. • Troubleshoot any problems with customers accessing the Internet and/or getting their emails. • Use Unix commands to lookup account information. Record all calls taken into a database that is accessible by other technicians.
