I have 20+ years of experience working in the IT field for major companies, mostly around system and application management, security and compliance, automation, databases, data collection and analysis. I am also a father, a husband, a musician, a writer, a poet, a photographer, a speaker, a luthier, a coder and more. I believe that we don't always need the latest technology and buzz; but we do need technology that works. I quit my high paying job at Microsoft in 2015 and since then myself and my family moved on top of a hill in the Italian countryside, in an old country farm that was abandoned for a long time. We have restructured it and greatly reduced our needs and our energetic footprint: we made the place functional but also cheap to run, sustainable and environment-friendly. My wife now runs her Naturopathy practice from there and makes delicious hazelnut cream. I have been building and running websites on LAMP stack and WP for myself and friends since 2001.
