Since I graduated from university in 2012 I've worked in a number of different roles in real estate:- * I’ve worked in investor relations raising mezzanine funds for a boutique property developer,  * in portfolio management managing my family’s property portfolio in Finland,  * in marketing and sales for a Brazilian luxury real estate agency, * in brokerage, advising clients on their financing options for their development projects or portfolio refinances. The asset classes I worked with included residential, mixed use, office, retail, hotel, student accommodation and care homes. * I’ve also worked in financial analysis for a luxury property developer in London. There I structured and managed the financials for numerous property development projects, but the largest and most impressive one is the redevelopment of Whiteleys shopping centre in Bayswater London, it’s a  1 million sqft, £1.5bn GDV development where the shopping mall is being converted into a hotel, resi apartments, retail units, a gym and a cinema. When I left the company we had successfully closed on £895m of debt and £140m of preferred equity. I consider this one of my greatest achievements to date. * I currently work part time for an online platform for prime property lending and investing in London. My primary job is to monitor the existing loan book and produce regular reports for our client base so they can adjust their returns and repayment expectations.
