Hennessy Sports: Battle of Brum Poster
Boxing promotor Hennessy Sports, required a poster to promote a title fight between two Birmingham based boxers, Wayne Elcock and Mathew Macklin. Being from Birmingham, it was quite an honour designing the poster for this event. Starting with the two photos provided by the client, I created a background image representing Birmingham made up from vectors I had drawn, then applied a palette of black and gold to the poster with some neatly placed copy.
About Me
A brief history: I left school knowing I wanted to be a creative, excelling in Art more than any other subject. I studied Art and Graphic Design at Sixth Form College before going on to University to complete a three year course in Graphic Design. After leaving University, I became self employed as a Freelance Designer, before gaining a junior role in a design position. Currently I work for an advertising agency in Leamington Spa.
