This solution is a School Management Information System. The solution is able to handle student admissions and course registrations. It collects enrollment fees and registers payments producing invoices and receipts.

The system schedules enrolled students into class sessions depending on their enrolled course and allocates lecturers to assigned courses and class sessions as per the timetable.

The application also schedules semesters and produces financials based on each semester.

The solution was developed using ASP.NET MVC 5 with Entity Framework connecting to an MSSQL server Database.

The frontend UI is based on the Razor Template engine with VBHTML helpers calling database objects using entity framework.

The reports are produced by SAP Crystal reports engine producing various customized reports such as Outstanding balances, Course fee structures, invoices, receipts and more.

ASP.NET Web Based School Management Information System

In this project I developed an e-Learning courses website. The site has a list of courses of which are picked from an SQL DB.

The courses can be managed through another backend asP.NET web Application that I developed in order to help the eLearning site administrators manage the courses that are published on the online website.

I also integrates a RESTful API to a local payment gateway that allows for payment when a member enrolls for a course.

The application also sends HTML embedded email notifications to members upon registration and enrollment of courses.

The application can also be integrated to the School Management Information System.

E Learning Website and LMS solution

This is a HR and Payroll management solution. I used OOP to create objects from the database and eventually upgraded to Entity framework 5.0. The application has part of the logic stored in stored procedures in the database, and part in the controllers of the ASP.NET MVC version of the application.

The application is also integrated to a biometric time and attendance system which uses a fingerprint device to capture clocking in and out off the system which are then registered on the solution.

For the reporting I used the SAP Crystal Reports engine to deliver reports such as Payslips, Company Payroll Summaries, and other Statutory Returns reports.

The application is also integrated to various local government solutions for returns remittance known as the KRA iTax and the NSSF by product. The system is able to generate files in their specified format for integration.

The solution is also attached to a payment gateway in order to facilitate employee salary disbursements.
