ONLINE DEFECT TRACKER
The tool "Online Defect Tracker" will be implemented to track bugs in a project. The tool is used to keep track of bugs present in an project/module of a distributed organization. In an divided distributed organization the developers or teams and the quality assurance team will not be present in the same place. They make use of this tool as a way of communication between them selves to track bugs present in the project. This can also be used in in-house way of working.
The people who use this tool are the quality assurance team and the team of developers of an organization. The quality assurance team uses the modules developed by the developer for the testing. On the discovery of a defect the QA team adds the information about the defect onto a database using the tool. The developer on receiving the message makes the corresponding change to the module to eliminate the defects. He can write suggestions about how to eliminate the defects for future use or for other developers using the tool.

This project ‘cargo chain locator’ is one such innovative CRM solution.
The project ‘cargo chain locator’ is an effective and versatile tool to meet the requirements of any clearing and forwarding company. The project is basically a CRM (customer relationship management).
Clearing and forwarding companies are a service industry that helps in forwarding/clearing the goods to and form the customs authority in any port. The project is designed to create a transparency in operations between the customer and the agents, in effect to make available all information, currently handled by fax and telephone, on the net on a 24hrs basis.
Clearing and forwarding (C&F) company co-ordinate the activities invoked in clearing of imported goods or forwarding of the goods of a client with the port customs authority. The main function of them is to facilitate easier clearance with minimum delay to the customer. In any clearing and forwarding an agent is assigned for the Customer.
