Stair-Hexagonal Slot Antenna with Coplanar Waveguide Technique for Biomedical Applications

This research introduces the design of the Stair-Hexagonal slot antenna with the Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) technique which operated at desired frequency of 5.8 GHz. The purpose of antenna is to detect an object in body organs such as tumors and cancer. The gain of the antenna from the simulation is 2.42 dBi and radiation pattern of simulation and measurement are bidirectional.

Stretchable Metamaterial Inspired Antenna for WLAN Applications

This paper presents an SRR metamaterial-based antenna designed with stretchable and highly conductive patch Galinstan and elastomer polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate, which operates at a frequency of 5.2 GHz. This antenna can deform into any complex shapes such as the human body, and suitable for application that requires Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) connectivity, such as for soldiers involved in missions and battles.

Ultra Wide Band Antenna for Breast Tumor Detection

An ultra-wideband antenna is designed for breast tumor detection, which operates at 5 Ghz frequency range. From the simulation results, the best return loss of -40.32 dB is obtained at 5.2 GHz. Moreover, the large bandwidth obtained is 3.46 GHz with respect to -10dB.

A novel design rectangular UWB antenna array for microwave breast tumor detection

This paper introduces the novel design of circular and rectangular antenna array in ring configuration which operated at frequency 2 GHz - 11 GHz. The antenna is designed and simulated to detect the presence of a tumor. The analysis is done by comparing the E-field, Hfield, Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of antenna without /with a tumor. With ring configuration, each element of the antenna is directly faced to the breast phantom for better tumor detection.
