I am a college graduate who has a special interest in 3D modeling. My passion lies mostly in hard-surface modeling and those nice and shiny studio renders. I'vs seen a lot of cool kinetic typography animations made in After Effects, so I got the idea to try it in Cinema 4D. I animated the song We Will Rock You by Queen, at 25 fps. By the end of it I got the hang of timing the words, and what would look good for this type of animation. Rendering took on average about 12 seconds per frame for 720p, the entire animation took around 12 hours to render(3050 frames)

Mostly hand animated, used a combination of a cloner, sound effector, tracer and Nurbs Sweep for the audio waveform.

Composited the tiff sequence and audio in After Effects.

We Will Rock You - Kinetic Typography

Another exercise in working with CAD files. The dragonfly was modeled by J E Paz in SolidWorks and can be found on GrabCAD.

.STEP file converted to .OBJ and imported in Cinema 4D. Rendered by me with a HDRI studio setup.

An exercise in working with CAD files. The engine was modeled by Jan Elg in SolidWorks and can be found on GrabCAD.

CAD Radial Engine

Modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D, with a little post in Photoshop. The piano is the model I made in Maya a few years ago. First complete scene in Cinema 4D since switching from Maya.

Piano Library Room

A living room modeled in Maya, inspiration from Houzz. Modeled completely in polygons, textures made in Photoshop, all mental ray materials. A mental ray mia_exposure_photographic lens shader attached to the camera with gamma of 2.2. All textures and materials are gamma corrected.

Living Room

Modeled in Maya using all polygons, textures made in Photoshop, all mental ray materials. The lighting is made with 9 area lights and Global Illumination. A mental ray mia_exposure_photographic lens shader attached to the camera with gamma of 2.2. All textures and materials are gamma corrected. Depth of Field pass rendered in Maya. DOF Composited with beauty pass in Autodesk Composite.
