From a very young age I have been reading and appreciating comic books and graphic novels. Through looking at these illustrations I have discovered many different artists, drawing styles, and processes and techniques into how images are created. Some artists stick to one style of drawing, though I personally like to adapt and try as many as i can. That way I know what I like and what I don’t, and whether or not they work for me and my work. This is my tribute to Spider man. It’s on A3 paper and done purely with one pencil. I tried to include a lot of detail and tone, and whilst drawing I got a few fingerprints around the mouth. However I really like that, it looks like bad breath! Venom is the main focus and Spider man is hanging off of his tongue.
